Hi! My name is Sebastian, and I’m a plumber in Nebraska. I have a wife and three kids. I’ve been a Christian since the end of 2015. I love Jesus, and I love to read and study God’s word.
I started this blog because I wanted a place to post some Bible studies. I thought maybe having a blog for Bible studies would motivate me to work on more Bible studies, and also require me to take those studies more seriously since they will be posted online.
I am not a scholar by any means, and it’s unlikely that my content will be very profound. It may not even be useful to anybody. But I do love God’s word, and I love to study it, and I do believe that it contains all the answers we need for spiritual strength and wisdom.
The name for my blog comes from 1 Corinthians 1:26-31. In this passage, Paul talks about how not many wise, mighty or noble people were called by God. Rather, God chose the foolish and the weak things to shame the wise and the strong, and He did this so that nobody could boast.
I am just another weak fool that God has graciously chosen. Though I am a weak fool, I know that God offers wisdom and strength through His word. I hope to find some of it. And maybe share some of it…
